About Court Street Clinic
We are a part of Woodland Healthcare Services, P.C., just like the Evergreen Clinic in the building to our north.
Our clinic is staffed by two Board Certified Nurse Practitioners, Sue Brindley, MSN, FNP-BC and
Keri Hodgins, MSN, FNP-BC. Keri and Sue are graduates of the Saginaw Valley State University Nurse Practitioner Program. Their education included receiving their RN, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and then a Master Degree in Nursing. Nurse Practitioners provide a wide range of preventative, chronic and acute healthcare services to individuals. Nurse Practitioners assess patients, make diagnosis, and determine treatment plans; therefore Nurse Practitioners can work independently or in collaboration with a physician. Michael Beasley M.D. is their collaborating physician.
Our clinic provides Primary Care for those age twelve and above. This would include the management of chronic medical problems such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, and many others, as well as providing routine health checkups. Keri also has an established practice caring for women and their healthcare needs.
The Court Street Clinic has an on-site laboratory and if you are in need of an X-ray, Sue and Keri will write an order to utilize the Evergreen Clinic in providing this service to our patients.
The Court Street Clinic is open Monday through Friday. Patients are seen by appointment only.
We request that you submit Prescription Refill Requests at least two weeks prior to when you will run out of your medication.
If you call with a question or problem that you need to talk to a provider about, the message will be placed in the Provider’s box and they will try to call you as soon as possible. It may take a few days for your Provider to get back with you. If your medical concern cannot wait for a call back please go to the Evergreen Clinic and be seen as a walk-in. If the Provider whom treats you is in need of your Medical Records from the Court Street Clinic our staff can easily obtain your Medical Record to use while you are being seen at the Evergreen Clinic.
Lastly, we do not admit patients to the hospital. If you are an established primary care patient at the Court Street Clinic you will need to be hospitalized you will be admitted under a physician who does not practice at the Court Street Clinic or the Evergreen Clinic. Sue and Keri ask that when you are discharged from the hospital to please call the Court Street Clinic for a follow up hospital visit.
We will try hard to see that you are pleased with our clinic, our staff, our providers, and the services that we offer.
